Bryant is currently the Firm's Practice Leader in Emerging Businesses, with an emphasis on Strategic Planning and Organizational Effectiveness. Additionally, Bryant is an assistant professor of management at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. In earlier assignments, he has served as an adjunct professor at the University of Baltimore, Johns Hopkins University, and Coppin State University, where he taught courses in introduction to business, management, finance, marketing, consumer behavior, business policy, organizational assessment, and planning, budgeting and control.
Prior to joining ThinkStrategy, Bryant founded Mitchell & Associates, a general management consulting firm.
In earlier work, he was employed at McKinsey & Company, Inc., the preeminent international general management
consulting firm, in its Cleveland Office. His McKinsey tenure was preceded by work at Mobil Oil Corporation in its marketing and refining division as a
senior financial analyst.
Bryant also holds an MBA in Finance from Columbia University Graduate School of Business, where he graduated in the top 20 percent. His BS degree in Business Administration, Summa Cum Laude, was earned from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore.
Khalil is currently the Firm's Practice Leader in Education, focusing on relationships between organization information systems and the strategic management process. He has over 27 years of combined professional experience in general management consulting and university research and teaching.
Prior to his association with ThinkStrategy, Khalil served as the strategy development leader for the Telecommunications Group of the Department of State Year 2000 Program Management Office. In this role he was the principal author and developer of the Department's Telecommunications Readiness Review, a document that guided over 250 posts and bureaus located worldwide through a comprehensive check and assessment of all their telecommunications systems and components.
In an earlier setting, Khalil served as Director of Mezzan Services, a consulting/value added reseller firm that designed and implemented management information systems for businesses, universities, and other educational institutions. Before founding Mezzan Services, he worked at Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) as a senior member of the technical staff supporting scientific space exploration missions. While at CSC, he authored the Integrated Test Plan for the ground segment of the Earth Observatory Satellite project.
As an assistant professor of physics at Hampton University and as instructor of physics at Howard University, Khalil taught courses in mathematical methods in physics, optics, modern physics, mechanics, and general physics. He earned a BS degree, with distinction, in physics from Virginia State University.
